Types of MSMEs:

Micro Enterprises:

  • A Mircro Enterprise with less than Rs. 25 Lakhs of investment in plant & machinery under manufactoring sector.
  • A Mircro Enterprise with less than Rs. 10 Lakhs of investment in plant & machinery under Service sector

Small Enterprises:

  • A Small Enterprise with more than Rs. 25 Lakhs but does not exceed Rs. 5 Crores of Investment in plant & machinery under manufactoring sector.
  • A Small Enterprise with more than Rs. 10 Lakhs but does not exceed Rs. 2 Crores of Investment in plant & machinery under service sector.

Medium Enterprises:

  • A Medium Enterprise with more than Rs. 5 Crores but does not exceed Rs. 10 Crores of Investment in plant & machinery under manufactoring sector.
  • A Medium Enterprise with more than Rs. 2 Crores but does not exceed Rs. 5 Crores of Investment in plant & machinery under service sector.
